Last week was huge for Zinnia! We celebrated our completion of Straight Shot, a 90 day startup coaching and mentorship program that works like a high-speed MBA. You can picture us tossing our graduation caps in the air and giving a cheer.
Straight Shot culminated on September 10th with Demo Day, an event that brought 400 entrepreneurs and members of the tech community together to hear pitches from seven emerging startups, including Zinnia’s very own Andy Holz.
Thanks to you, our fabulous customers, we had lots of good things to share on Demo Day: our website traffic is up 245% in the past few weeks, our flower sales have been strong during the slowest month of the year (we’re looking at you, August), we’re getting close to expanding to other midwestern markets and we’ve partnered with four local companies for special promotions, with more to come!
Straight Shot provided amazing mentoring and many great opportunities to network. We can’t say enough about the inspiring entrepreneurs and companies we encountered. This is just one of the reasons we love all things local, especially the people.
